Research Interests
Research areas of the Fang Lianhua group cover cardiovascular pharmacology, metabolic disease pharmacology and innovative drug development. The group focuses on the identification of drug targets, establishment of screening models, and research of screening techniques for high-throughput screening of the drugs for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and its chronic complications, especially further evaluation of active compounds obtained through high-throughput screening and the study of their mechanism. Their work includes research of intracellular signal transduction pathways related to vascular function and drug intervention, as well as R&D of innovative drugs for the prevention and treatment of pulmonary hypertension, hypertension and diabetic vascular disease.
