1. The discovery of bioactive substances of traditional Chinese medicine.
2. Discovery of therapeutic agents inspired by natural products.
Its research interests:
The group mainly focuses on the discovery of structurally novel and biologically active natural compounds from traditional Chinese medicine and folk medicine, and the structural optimization and structure-activity relationship studies of bioactive natural molecules towards new drug leads. The main objective is to discover lead drug candidates that target the innovative drugs for inflammatory diseases, metabolic diseases and tumors.
