Research Interests
Prof. Du Guanhua group's research interests include drug discovery, high-throughput drug screening, neurologic and cardiovascular pharmacology. They presided over the establishment of China's first high-throughput drug screening system, including China's first modern sample bank, a series of high-throughput and high content screening models, pharmaceutical science data sharing database and biochip, bioinformation and virtual screening technologies. The researches focus on the identification of drug targets, the establishment of screening models and screening techniques for high-throughput screening of drugs related to the prevention and treatment of neurological, cardio-cerebrovascular and metabolic diseases and their chronic complications, and the in-depth evaluation of the active compounds obtained from screening and the study of the mechanism of action.
