Research Interests
Main research areas of the Gao Zhonggao group are as follows:
1. Study on tumor targeting nanoagents
Synthesis of various nanocarriers for tumor targeting drug delivery;
Development of new methods for quantitatively linking targeted ligands on the surface of nanocarriers；
Construction of tumor microenvironment sensitive to targeted nanoparticles.
2. In vivo imaging and therapy of nanocarriers
Development of nanoparticles that can simultaneously visualize and treat tumors by ultrasound and MRI.
3. Development of novel gene delivery system
Development of new gene delivery vectors for in vivo delivery of plasmid genes, siRNA and other gene drugs.
4. Study on improving the bioavailability of oral preparations
Enhancement of bioavailability of insoluble drugs in vivo through solubilization and high dispersion.
5. Study on increasing the stability and effectiveness of protein and peptide drugs in vivo
