Research Interests
Ion channel is an important transmembrane protein, which participates in many important physiological processes. The abnormal function of ion channel is closely related to the occurrence of diseases. By focusing on disease-related ion channels, the research group led by Yu Haibo has established a complete ion channel screening platform. They are mainly focusing on ion channels related to nervous system diseases:
1.Discovering novel regulators targeting ion channels;
2. Developing innovative drugs targeting neurological diseases such as epilepsy, pain, anxiety and depression;
3. Exploring the novel action mechanism of small molecule compounds and find clues for disease treatment.
