1. 常用中药药效物质基础研究
2. 天然活性成分的发现、结构修饰及全合成
近十年来重点研究常用中药药效物质，选取在抗肿瘤、抗糖尿病、治疗神经退行性疾病以及心脑血管疾病方面具有确切疗效的十余种常用中药，包括大花红景天、牛蒡子、甘草、丹参、地骨皮等，对其化学成分进行了深入的挖掘和研究，利用已构建靶向分离策略，快速、高效、靶向获得结构新颖的活性先导物。针对高活性的先导物进一步对其进行结构修饰以及全合成研究，从而进一步完成成药性评价，为创新药物研发奠定基础。
